Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — Important summary
Our services are provided in Australia and are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). ACL provides guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services are rendered with due care and skill and match the description provided.
Where a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is substantial, you may be entitled to remedies such as a repeat performance or refund under the ACL.

Service terms, warranties & refunds
- Bookings: Confirmed bookings require a deposit where indicated. Cancellation less than 24 hours may incur a fee.
- Warranties: Manufacturer or product warranties (eg. ceramic coatings) remain with the product supplier. Dealpoint provides workmanship warranty where applicable; details are provided with each service quote.
- Refunds: Statutory rights under ACL apply. For non‑statutory refunds we assess on a case-by-case basis; please contact us with evidence (photos, invoice).

Payment: Card, bank transfer or cash on completion.

Liability and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dealpoint limits liability for loss or damage arising from our services. However, nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for rights which cannot be excluded under ACL.
Customers must advise us of pre-existing damage, faults or modifications. We are not responsible for latent defects in vehicle parts or pre-existing paint conditions that affect outcomes.

We aim to resolve complaints promptly. For formal complaints please provide:
- Invoice or booking reference
- Clear description of issue and dates
- Photographic evidence where applicable
If you remain unsatisfied after our internal process, relevant external bodies include:
